Where the Past Lives On. One Branch at a Time.
e’re proud to introduce Ancestral*ite—a new name that reflects our mission: to illuminate your family story through verified records, historical context, and DNA insights. Same research, same heart—now with a fresh new light.
Since 2003, we’ve helped families explore their roots through generations of research, one story and one connection at a time. Our goal is to provide the most accurate, richly documented history of our families, community, and region.
Explore the names, discover the stories—and if you see a connection, we’d love to hear from you.

ome of us feel the call—to gather names, trace branches, and reconnect scattered pieces of our family’s past. Whether it begins with a DNA test, a handwritten note, or a name passed down in silence, that first spark leads us on a path of discovery.
Genealogy isn’t just about finding out where we come from. It’s about understanding who we are and building connections that span generations. We research to remember. We share to reconnect. And through this work, we honor those who came before—and those who walk beside us now.
ur ancestors lived complex lives—through hardship and hope, war and migration, love and loss. They were more than names. They were farmers, teachers, immigrants, mothers, and dreamers.
Each family record we uncover, each story we preserve, brings us closer to understanding the people who made us possible. In every document, photo, or heirloom, there’s a legacy waiting to be remembered—and shared. These stories matter not just because they came before us, but because they shaped the world we live in today.
e believe our ancestors didn’t live their stories—of struggle, of hope, of adventure, of love, or of dreams of the future—only to be forgotten. They built lives, often without knowing if anyone would remember their names. But we do.
Every time we document a life, share a photo, or correct a forgotten name, we honor that legacy. It’s not just about gathering facts—it’s about restoring presence. We are the caretakers of memory, the ones who carry their stories forward.
Our work is for them—but it’s also for those yet to come. We are the bridge between memory and legacy.
They left behind more than names on stones.
They left whispers in letters, laughter in recipes, echoes in lullabies.
They crossed oceans, held hands in silence, and hoped for better.
They didn’t know our names, but they dreamed of us.
And now, we remember them.
Across generations and around the world, our family has proudly served in the military—standing up in times of peace and conflict alike. From U.S. soldiers and Navy officers to those who served in the forces of Norway, the UK, and beyond, their dedication and sacrifice are part of our legacy. Whether on the front lines or supporting from behind the scenes, these relatives answered the call of duty with courage, honor, and a deep sense of service that continues to inspire us today.
Our family tree has some pretty incredible branches. From U.S. Presidents like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln to world leaders like Winston Churchill and Queen Victoria, politics is just the beginning. We’ve also got inventors who changed the world—think Isaac Newton, the Wright brothers, and Alexander Graham Bell—as well as artists and entertainers like Walt Disney, Audrey Hepburn, and Lucille Ball. There are trailblazers who broke barriers, like Helen Keller, Amelia Earhart, and Martin Luther King Jr. Even in sports, names like Babe Ruth and Sugar Ray Robinson show up. It’s a mix of visionaries, leaders, creatives, and change-makers—and their stories remind us how many different paths greatness can take.
We've been researching this family name for over 30 years. I found lots of information in the Archives, but once the internet exploded with genealogy, many more doors have been opened for me to research.
